Important Notes About Diving In Galapagos

Water currents can make diving in Galapagos a challenge. We can help you to select a dive trip suitable for your experience.

 

  • Galapagos dive operators PADI certification from all clients in order to dive. Dive safety is, of course, a priority at all times.
  • Galapagos diving cruise companies provide equipment to rent on board, or you can travel with your own dive gear.
  • Galapagos dive day tour destinations rotate through different days of the week. Please check destination availability this with our team. Minimum dive experience of 30 previous immersions is required at Gordon Rocks.
  • Galapagos day dives typically begin early at 07:00, and return at 15:30. Inclusions: 2 dive immersions, all dive equipment, dive master and lunch on board. Divers must visit the Dive Center in Puerto Ayora on the day before their trip to try on wetsuit and gear.
