The superyacht is owned by Fiddi Angermeyer, raised in Galapagos and whose family helped pioneer tourism in the islands. He’s continued his parents’ love of sharing the archipelago’s unique wildlife and fascinating volcanic geology with the outside world while helping to conserve its natural wonders through an innovative initiative with WildAid.
With a 1:1 crew-passenger ratio, the Passion offers a highly personalized experience and boasts more square meters per passenger than any other yacht in the Galapagos. While many luxury cruise operators carry up to 40+ passengers, the Passion accommodates just 12 in air-conditioned comfort.
The yacht was completely refurbished and adapted to cruise in the Galapagos National Park, with automatic stabilizers to minimize motion at sea and four spacious decks across its 159 feet (49 meters) long. While it boasts state-of-the-art features, many original elements have also been retained, including its elegant rose-colored marble bathrooms and teak wood decks that make the vessel one of a kind.
The M/Y Passion’s history as a family yacht is evidenced in the welcome received when you step onboard. Warm hospitality and spacious dimensions create a relaxed ambiance in what is truly a “home away from home”.
