Itinerary
DAY1 ARRIVAL BOGOTA (-)
Arrival in to Bogota, capital city of Colombia. Transfer in from the airport and free time to relax.
DAY 2 BOGOTA CITY (BL)
A full guided day to visit the best sight of the city, including: Paloquemao Market, the colonial Candelaria Historic District, world famous gold museum "Museo del Oro", the Emerald Museum, Botero Museum, and Monserrate peak.
DAY 3 ZIPAQUIRA (BL)
½ day tour to visit the incredible Zipaquira underground salt cathedral. Free afternoon in Bogota.
DAY 4 TO THE COFFEE TRIANGLE (B)
Transfer to Bogota Airport for your flight out to Armenia, in the heart of Colombia’s coffee region. Free time to settle in and relax.
DAY 5 COFFEE TRIANGLE - QUINDIO (B)
In the morning you can participate in the traditional craft of basket weaving, famous in this area. After lunch, we’ll head out to tour a traditional coffee farm, of course including tasting.
DAY 6 COFFEE TRIANGLE – COCORA VALLEY & SALENTO (BL)
Enjoy another full day in the coffee triangle. We kick off at Salento town, to appreciate the colorful colonial houses, vibrant craft workshops, and balconies full of flowers. Then, we’ll hike through the stunning Cocora Valley, home to Colombia’s national tree—the Wax Palm.
DAY 7 TO MEDELLIN (BL)
Transfer to Armenia Airport for your flight out to Medellin. In the afternoon, enjoy a ½ day guided tour to get to know the best sites of this wonderful city.
DAY 8 MEDELLIN (B)
A full day excursion combines a visit to the picturesque town of Santa Elena, famed for traditional flower arrangements, with the impressive Piedra del Peñol monolith in Guatape.
DAY 9 TO CARTAGENA (B)
Transfer out for your flight to Cartagena. Transfer in on arrival, and free time to wander the colonial streets of the old town area.
DAY 10 CARTAGENA (B)
A full day to discover the city of Cartagena de Indias, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll visit: La Popa Convent, San Felipe de Barajas Fortress, & the walled city center. Last but not least, we’ll discover the famous flavors of this old city rum & chocolate.
DAY 11 ROSARIO ISLANDS (BL)
The last day of the trip is dedicated to relaxation on one of South America’s very finest beaches. The Rosario Islands consist of 27 picturesque islands with 20 hectares of coral reefs. You’ll be spending the day on Majagua Island offering clear waters, gentle breezes, and marine life. There’s ample time to enjoy the beautiful beach.
DAY 12 TOUR END CARTAGENA AIRPORT (B)
Transfer out to Cartagena Airport for your flight out.
