Itinerary

DAY 1 ARRIVAL CARTAGENA (-)
An easy arrival day, with transfer from Cartagena Airport to your hotel, followed by free time to settle in.
DAY 2 CARTAGENA (B)
Enjoy a private city tour exploring Cartagena de Indias, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in the Americas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll enjoy visits to: La Popa Convent, San Felipe de Barajas Fortress, the most beautiful streets, churches, and plazas of the old walled city center.
DAY 3 CARTAGENA (B)
A free day to explore Cartagena on your own, wandering the romantic cobbled streets, visiting museums or modern boutiques, and enjoying fine cuisine. Optional extra tours that you could enjoy today (at extra cost): sunset catamaran cruise in Cartagena Bay, or a day trip to the stunning beaches of the Rosario Islands.
DAY 4 CARTAGENA TO SANTA MARTA (B)
A private transfer from Cartagena to Santa Marta city along the coast, and free time to explore Santa Marta city in the afternoon.
DAY 5 SANTA MARTA (B)
A private city tour of Santa Marta city. Nestled between the sea and the Sierra Nevada, this is the oldest existing city in Colombia. We’ll visit La Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, the old sugar plantation of Don Joaquín de Mier, the Bolivarian Museum, the country's oldest Cathedral, Tayrona Gold Museum, San Francisco Church, Simon Bolivar Park, Parque de los Novios, and the city's boardwalk.
DAY 6 TAYRONA NATIONAL PARK (BL)
Tayrona Park boasts stunning beaches and jungle landscapes, inviting visitors to enjoy the tranquility of nature and ecotourism. Today, we’ll enjoy a 2 & ½ hike through the forest to Cabo San Juan Beach. Free time to enjoy the white sand and clear waters, before our return hike.
DAY 7 TAYRONAKA NATURE RESERVE (BL)
Explore the Sierra Nevada jungle on a hike filled with endemic flora and fauna, and the vestiges of the ancient city of Tayrona. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a remarkable journey tubing down river rapids all the way to the sea, spotting howler monkeys, birds, and endemic vegetation along the way. At the river mouth, spend time at a beautiful beach where the mountains, jungle, and river melt into the sea.
DAY 8 TO SANTA MARTA AIRPORT (B)
Our tour ends with a private transfer from Tayrona National Park to Santa Marta airport.

  • This tour is available to start on any day throughout the year.
  • For special dates (Easter, Christmas, New Years) the quoted prices may increase by up to 15%.
  • Tayrona National Natural Park usually schedules 3 closures each year for the conservation of the protected area, on the following dates: February 1 to 15 - June 1 to 15 - October 19 to November 2. Dates are subject to change by decision of national parks and Indigenous Authorities.
