Highlights of the Cachalote Explorer Yacht
- The Cachalote Explorer motor yacht ship began Galapagos operation in 2018. Originating from Vancouver, Canada & its menacing rough west coast, the Cachalote Explorer is set to excel in Galapagos waters, providing a smooth & comfortable journey.
- Social areas include a large dining area and salon for relaxing, dining and socializing. There is also a sun deck for relaxing between island visits, and a viewing deck on the bow.
- Comfortable cabins offer either lower beds or bunks, with air-conditioning & hot showers.
- Two single passenger kayaks are available to use during leisure time.

About Itineraries
- On day 1 there is only time for an afternoon visit to be included; similarly, on the final day, there is only a brief morning visit. The reason for this is to connect with the Galapagos flight arrivals and departures at the airport.
- Important note: A surcharge of US$200 per person is applicable during Christmas and New Years weeks.
- The Cachalote Explorer cruise obligates Happy Gringo to buy Galapagos flight tickets directly through them; failure to do so will, unfortunately, result in a penalty fee being charged to you by the yacht operator.
