Snorkeling

• Use of wet suits and snorkeling gear is included.
• Most Full day yachts tour excursions provide an opportunity for snorkeling.

Room Types

• Terrace Rooms – 6 ground floor rooms located close to main lodge building. Total area of 61 sq m (including 11 sq m terrace).
• Balcony Rooms – 6 first floor rooms nestled on a small plateau of the main crater. Total area of 61 sq m (including 11 sq m terrace).
• Garden Suite – 1 spacious garden suite, nestled on a small plateau of the main crater. Total area of 74 sq m (including 16 sq m terrace and private garden).
• Pool Suite – 1 spacious pool suite, nestled on a small plateau of the main crater. Total area of 74 sq m (including 36 sq m terrace with access to private garden and plunge pool). It is furnished with a king size bed and extra sofa-bed.

All rooms and suites are furnished with contemporary décor, have panoramic floor to ceiling windows, walk-in closet, large bathroom, aircon and ceiling fans, flat screen HD TV and DVD, room safe, mini bar, ipod speakers, and either two queen or one king bed (unless otherwise stated).

Bathrooms are equipped with bathrobe, slippers & Biodegradable shower gel and shampoo.

Extra Activities

Optional activities available at extra cost:

• SCUBA DIVING - recommended dive sites include North Seymour, Plazas, Cousins Rocks and Daphne islet.
• SPORT FISHING – on catch and release basis. Deep sea fishing for Blue Marlin, Yellow Fin Tuna, Wahoo and Mahi Mahi, or drop lines for Galapagos Grouper and Snapper bottom fishing.
• MOUNTAIN BIKING (free) - quality mountain bikes and helmets are available for use, and trail maps are provided. Places to visit include: volcanic craters, lava tunnels, small villages with organic coffee farms, cattle ranches or Garrapatero Beach.
• HIKING / JOGGING (free) – The Pikaia Lodge property has more than 3.5km of internal private roads and paths for walking and jogging, with incredible views and wild giant tortoises along the way.
• KAYAKING – recommended kayak sites are at Tortuga Bay and El Garrapatero beaches

All of these activities can either be booked in advance, or directly through the lodge concierge.
