Papallacta Day Tour

Papallacta is a small mountain town, high in the Andean mountains, famous for its medicinal hot springs. This day tour is all about relaxation and pampering!

On the day, your itinerary is flexible. Your guide will discuss the options with you, so you can choose your preferences. 

Some of the activities/visits that you can choose to include in your 1-day itinerary are:

  • Kick back and relax at the Papallacta hot springs; there are over 15 pools fed by natural springs heated by the nearby volcanoes with temperatures between 36 and 40 degrees Celsius.
  • Treat yourself to a massage or beauty treatment at the excellent on-site spa (recommended to book in advance, not included in price).
  • Stroll along the network of riverside trekking trails, learning about the high altitude cloud forest & paramo plant species, plus looking out for bird and mammal species.
  • Visit to nearby Guango Lodge to see their busy hummingbird feeders, or to Dos Reservas to enjoy lunch and meet their resident alpacas.
