Illinizas Trekking tour

Our Illinizas Volcano day trek tour climbs high to the peak of North Illiniza Volcano (5,126m), an enjoyable adventure activity for experienced or intermediate climbers alike.

Note: this is a strenuous hike at high altitude. Although non-technical in nature, it requires a high level of fitness.

  • 3 hours trekking to the Illinizas volcano refuge "New Horizons".
  • 3 more hours of non-technical climb to North Illinizas peak.
  • Enjoy the wonderful Andean scenery along the trek, and take incredible pictures from the refuge.
