Hightlights of Amazon Tapir Lodge
- Tapir lodge is located in the pristine flooded forests of the Cuyabeno wildlife Reserve – a fabulous isolated place for observing nature and meeting native indigenous groups!
- Instead of the traditional ground-floor cabins that you find in most of the lodges, Tapir Lodge have built two towers each 15 meters high, to bring the wildlife experience closer.
- Tapir Lodge uses alternative energies, implementing an excellent way of creating their own energy, with no impact to the environment. Solar panels keep your cameras and phones charged 24-7.
- The Tapir Lodge tour combines excellent wildlife-spotting, with a cultural experience at the local Siona community, including a fascinating cleansing ceremony performed by the community shaman healer.

Ruth B, Australia
The Tapir lodge, staff, food and overall experience is amazing. We spent a lovely three nights here, saw an abundance of wildlife from the boat, around the lodge and during jungle treks in the night and day. We were even lucky enough to see the pink amazon dolphins and spectacular nightly sunsets.
Rachel N, Canada
Our family of 5 (kids aged 18, 18 and 16) had such a unique and wonderful experience at Tapir lodge. They try to keep the numbers down to give each group a personal and individual experience based on whatever we wanted to do
