Itinerary for 4 days

  • DAY 1 Journey to Sacha Lodge in motorized canoe from Coca. Swim in Pilchicocha Lake and enjoy sunset from the canopy observation tower. Nocturnal search for black caiman alligators.
  • DAY 2 Enjoy a bird’s eye views of the forest & wildlife spotting opportunities from the observation tower. The rest of the day has forest trekking options.
  • DAY 3 Morning trek in search of anaconda, capibara & caiman, as well as learning local legends. In the afternoon piranha fishing, and more time atop the observation tower.
  • DAY 4 Check-out after breakfast, and return journey to Coca city.

Inclusions

  • 3 meals per day (from lunch on day 1 to breakfast on final day).

  • Flights between Quito and Coca (approx. $256 subject to change).

Access - transportation

  • The Sacha tour starts and finishes at the town of Coca. There are direct flights to / from Quito for approx $246 return fare (subject to change) -please note that the policy of Sacha Lodge is that it is an obligation to book flight tickets directly with them, so please organize the purchase of flights through Happy Gringo and we will coordinate everything with Sacha for you.
