- Day 1 Journey to La Selva Lodge in motorized canoe from Coca. Afternoon trek along the Matapalo Trail to see 400-year old trees.
- Day 2 Early morning bird watching from the canopy observation tower. Trek to Mandicocha Lagoon to look for giant otters. Afternoon trek on the Charapa Trail for wildlife spotting. Nocturnal canoe ride and star-gazing.
- Day 3 Morning visit to the parrot clay licks, followed by cultural trip to Mandi Wasi community center to learn about Kichwa culture. Afternoon canoe ride to Garzacocha Lake to search for howler monkeys & birds. Night walk in the forest.

Access - transportation
- The tour starts with a flight to Coca (30minutes, approx. $220) you will be assisted in both Quito and Coca airport by the lodge staff.
- In Coca the lodge is reached via motorized canoe (approx. 2 hours and a half hour), then a short paddled canoe ride followed by a short 15-minute walk.
