Arrival early to mid-afternoon, followed by a guided walk along the Guitarracocha Trail to Kuyana Island. From the viewpoint, enjoy expansive views of the Hollín River and the Amazon Rainforest. Farm-to-table dinner at the lodge.
DAY 2 – Waterfalls, Amazon Flavors & Night Walk (BLD)
After breakfast, a guided walk to the beautiful Ushpayacu Waterfalls with time for bathing. Lunch at the lodge, followed by a traditional Amazon cooking class preparing local dishes such as maito and chontacuro, and a hands-on chocolate-making experience using locally sourced cacao. As night falls, join a guided night walk through the forest searching for frogs, insects, and other creatures that emerge after dark.
DAY 3 – Planting Your Legacy (B)
Wake to the sounds of the forest and enjoy your final breakfast. Before departing Kuyana, plant a native tree in the reforestation project, leaving your very own living contribution to the regeneration of the Amazon.
