Itinerary for 4 days
- Day 1 Meet your guide in the Cuyabeno Bridge and enjoy a box lunch. Then the navigations starts, it will take 2 hours to reach the lodge.
- Day 2 Morning primary forest trek in search of interesting flora and fauna. After lunch see butterflies, swim in the lagoon, and look for pink dolphins. Dinner at lodge, and night search for caiman alligators.
- Day 3 Morning visit to a family of the Tarapuy community. Afternoon at the lodge to relax. Nocturnal walk to observe night species such as spiders, ghekos or scorpions.
- Day 4 Optional early bird watching excursion. Breakfast and departure back to Cuyabeno Bridge.

Access - transportation
- The Jamu tour starts and finishes at the Cuyabeno Bridge
- The bus from Quito typically takes between 8 to 9 hours. Public buses (approx. $10), leave around 11:00pm the day before the trip starts, and return on the final afternoon of the trip arriving back to Quito around 9pm.
- From Quito to the Cuyabeno Bridge: The bus goes from the Blue House Hostel La Floresta (Leonidas Gutiérrez and Mariscal Foch St) at 11 pm, every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- From Cuyabeno Bridge to Quito: The bus leaves Cuyabeno bridge at noon, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. the bus arrives to Quito around 9-10 pm.
Standard rooms are cozy and rustic, with private bathroom and hot water.

Jamu also has 3 new Suites offering extra comfort in the jungle, including: much more space (60m per suite with space for up to 4 people), balcony, living room with sofa, bath gowns, complimentary fruit platter, USB connection for recharging, 1 water bottle per day, optional of breakfast and dinner served in the room.
