Access - transportation
- The Jamu tour starts and finishes at the Cuyabeno Bridge
- The bus from Quito typically takes between 8 to 9 hours. Public buses (approx.
$10), leave around 11:00pm the day before the trip starts, and return on the final afternoon of the trip
arriving back to Quito around 9pm.
- From Quito to the Cuyabeno Bridge: The bus goes from the Blue House Hostel La Floresta (Leonidas Gutiérrez and Mariscal Foch St) at 11 pm, every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- From Cuyabeno Bridge to Quito: The bus leaves Cuyabeno bridge at noon, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. the bus arrives to Quito around 9-10 pm.
Important note: The order of the excursions may be modified for climate changes.
Jamu Lodge trips usually depart on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Other departure days maybe possible for groups.

The shared excursion starts at the entrance bridge to the Cuyabeno Reserve at 11:30 am, and the last day of your tour will end at the same point.Standard rooms are cozy and rustic, with private bathroom and hot water.
